What Your Shipping Quotation Confirms

- 01

CIF Shipping & Selected FOB Availability
CIF is available for eligible destination ports. The quotation states the named port of destination, ocean freight, cargo insurance scope and documents included. Import clearance, duties, taxes, storage, demurrage and inland delivery are excluded unless expressly quoted.
FOB is available for selected destination markets and orders only. The quotation states the named port of shipment and the exact responsibility split. Availability must be confirmed before the order is accepted.
The final quotation identifies the selected rule as CIF or FOB + named port + Incoterms® 2020.
CIF and FOB apply to ocean shipments, not air freight. For a small or urgent parts order moving by air, the quotation separately confirms the named airport, freight scope, handover point and applicable shipping term.
Packing, Loading & Shipment Method
Packing and shipment method are confirmed after the product type, quantity, dimensions, destination and handling requirements are reviewed.
- Complete forklifts: configuration, mast or attachment handling, loading method and securing requirements are confirmed for the actual units.
- Genuine parts and attachments: carton, pallet, crate, consolidation and protection requirements are selected according to size, weight and fragility.
- Ocean freight — LCL or FCL: the recommended option depends on cargo volume, route, schedule and freight availability. It is not assigned only by destination region.
- Air freight: available for small or urgent parts orders, subject to cargo dimensions, chargeable weight, airline acceptance and restrictions on batteries, liquids or other controlled cargo.
- Pre-shipment confirmation: the agreed packing scope and available packing or loading photos can be confirmed before handover.
Payment Terms & Minimum Deposit
Bank transfer (T/T) is the standard payment method for JIA CHENG overseas B2B orders.
JIA CHENG supplies business buyers only and does not accept retail or individual consumer orders.
- Minimum deposit: orders normally require a deposit of at least 50% to confirm the order.
- Remaining balance: the exact amount and payment milestone are stated in the proforma invoice or written quotation.
- Currency and bank details: the agreed currency, beneficiary name and receiving account are shown only in official order documents.
- Payment verification: before transferring funds, buyers should verify that the beneficiary information matches the current proforma invoice and confirm any requested bank-detail change directly with JIA CHENG through a known contact channel.
No payment term is final until it is confirmed in writing for the specific order.
How Shipping Lead Time Is Confirmed
Forklift shipping lead time is confirmed per quotation because it depends on product availability, order preparation, packing, cargo dimensions, the selected ocean or air service, carrier capacity, route and the named port or airport.
The written quotation separates:
1. Availability and order-preparation time 2. Packing and pre-shipment confirmation time 3. Booking and handover window 4. Estimated carrier transit time
Ocean and air carrier schedules and estimated arrival dates can change after booking. Any transit estimate is indicative unless a separate written commitment states otherwise.
What We Need for a Shipping Quote
To prepare a useful forklift freight quote, please send:
- Company name and business contact details
- Product type, forklift model or OE part number
- Quantity and order list
- Destination country and preferred port or airport
- Preferred transport mode: ocean or air
- Preferred shipping term, if known
- Required shipment or arrival window
- Any special packing, insurance or document requirements
- Your nominated forwarder details when buyer-arranged freight is requested
If the cargo dimensions or weight are not yet final, we will confirm what is still needed before freight is quoted.
Commercial & Shipping Documents
The document set is confirmed for each order, transport mode, shipping term and destination. Depending on the shipment, it may include a commercial invoice, packing list, ocean bill of lading or air waybill, and applicable origin or insurance documents.
Destination import permits, product certifications, legalized documents, inspection requirements and special customs forms must be identified before the quotation is finalized. JIA CHENG does not publish real customer or shipment documents on the website.
